How to Get Deepchord in Scrooms

Deepchord is purchased in Bluestone Caverns for a recorded 16,000 Chimes after completing Pell’s marked-stone and Answer the Machine tasks. Collect the six stone notes, repeat the machine’s sequence, then buy and equip Deepchord. Completing it earns the Runestriker objective.

Finish Pell’s local quest chain first
Talk to Pell near the upper rail track and waterfall. The supplied guides require the complete Bluestone Caverns Index before the route advances. One community page says level 40, while a creator’s spoken recollection says level 34; the exact threshold is unresolved. Check Pell’s prompt and the Index tab for your current state.
Fill the cavern collection using the Bluestone arrival route, keeping a Fungstone for Marina or Marcus when those requests are active.
Listen at six stones, then answer the mechanism
Follow all six marked-stone stops: the upper scaffold, two separate mine-tunnel walls and two separate waterfall caves. Return to Pell after the six interactions. The next objective is Answer the Machine.
Locate the runic mechanism in the deeper tunnel and activate it. It plays notes in order. Repeat that exact order; the checked run progresses through rounds with three, four, five and a final sequence. There is no documented single universal colour order, so use the sequence shown in your run.
Read the price and equip the instrument
When the machine opens, use the purchase prompt. The inspected counter reads Deepchord, 16,000 Chimes. Select it, then open Equipment Bag → Instruments and press Equip. Confirm the card shows Equipped.
Deepchord is used for Runic-variant catch attempts in the Sanctum quest route; the source that recommends it does not guarantee that every catch rolls Runic. The official Runestriker badge names obtaining the instrument itself.
