How to Get Gloombell in Scrooms

Find the verified conditions for obtaining Gloombell in Scrooms and check that the catch meets your current objective.

Play an instrument on the grass near the spawn sign in Songkeeper’s Grove until Gloombell answers, then complete the catch. It is a Common Scroom with a 30–50 Hz range. The starter-area tutorial recording shows one caught with the Wooden Lute.

Based on October 2026 launch material; exact build unspecified. A frequency range describes the species, not a guaranteed way to select the next encounter.

Catch from the Grove’s starting lawn

Use the grass around the sign and red houses. Start a song, complete tuning, then keep the marker inside the catch zone until the progress meter fills. If another creature answers, that attempt is not a Gloombell just because its frequency overlaps.

The catching guide explains those stages and what to do when progress drains.

Check the name and the Index

Look for You caught: Gloombell! The first catch also adds its Index entry. The inspected tutorial result is 34.8 Hz; that is one observed catch within the range, not a required input.

Melodic, Harmonic and Resonant are separate tone records on the same species card. A plain catch can fill Gloombell’s card while leaving a tone marked Uncaught.

Keep the catch if Cal has given you a delivery

Cal’s request involves taking a Gloombell to Bennie. Check the active objective before selling your pack: an Index discovery does not leave you with a replacement creature to hand over. A particular tone is only the intended target when the objective actually asks for it.
