Scrooms XP Farming: Progression and Milestones
Plan Scrooms level progress around verified XP sources, requirements and milestones without relying on unsupported farming rates.
Use quest rewards and successful catches for XP, then turn in level-gated objectives when their requirement is met. Level 25 matters early because Halden’s follow-up leads to Shax and Songtreads. There is no supported universal XP-per-hour rate for this route.

Combine catch progress with active objectives
Accept relevant NPC objectives before a catching session so the same catches can also satisfy requests. Return to the NPC when a delivery or conversation is still required; a catch alone is not always a quest turn-in. The starter route covers Leo’s initial reward.
Aim to complete catches consistently and use the game’s Perfect Catch result when it appears. Beebzs recommends perfect catches, but his displayed XP example also uses a purchased 1.5 catch-XP multiplier, so it is not an unboosted baseline.

Compare methods under matching conditions
For your own comparison, keep the same instrument, boosts and region, and count successful catches over the same elapsed period. Record quest turn-ins separately: a one-time reward cannot be repeated indefinitely. This is a comparison method, not a measured claim about which route is fastest.
Choose an instrument that fixes the catches you lose. See what each attribute changes; a higher price alone does not establish faster XP.
